This is not your average decaf. Sourced from organic farms in Mexico and decaffeinated without any chemicals, our Decaf Blend tastes like proper coffee because it is. Sweet, smooth, and good any time of day or night.
The secret is in the process
We source 100% Arabica Catimor beans from Mexico, grown at 900 to 1,200 metres and certified Organic and Rainforest Alliance. Once harvested, the beans go through the Swiss Water Process, a natural, chemical-free method that removes around 97% of the caffeine while keeping the flavour intact.
The beans are then roasted fresh daily in our Brisbane roastery, the same as every other blend in our range. The result is a medium-bodied cup with honey, lemon, and lime on the palate, a light floral aroma, and a soft, smooth finish.

The Decaf Blend is just as versatile as our regular coffees. It pulls well through an espresso machine with a good crema, and works equally well in a plunger, stovetop, or filter. A great afternoon flat white or an after-dinner cup without any of the sleepless consequences.

1. Is it completely caffeine-free?
Not completely, but very close. The Swiss Water Process removes around 97% of the caffeine, so there is still a small trace amount. For most people sensitive to caffeine or looking to cut back, it makes a big difference without any compromise on flavour.
2. Will it taste like regular coffee?
Yes. Because the beans are roasted fresh daily to the same standard as our other blends, the flavour holds up really well. You still get a proper crema through an espresso machine and a satisfying cup however you brew it.
